Thousands of NJRTL Members March in Washington, DC

On January 22nd, thousands of NJRTL members attended the annual March for Life in Washington,
DC. The event attracts hundreds of thousands of Pro-Life people from around the country each year to commemorate the 1973 U.S. Supreme Court decision which legalized abortion on demand.
Nearly 100 buses from across the state traveled to the March that began with a rally at the Washington Monument. Other participants traveled by car, train, and airplane to attend the event. After the rally, the marchers proceeded down Constitution Avenue to the U.S. Capitol Hill. Many participants then visited their members of Congress to lobby for Pro-Life legislation. MORE
The March for Life is held each January and is organized by the March for Life Foundation and is hosted by its President, Nellie Gray.
